We will have limited staff on duty from now through until Fall. Our office hours will be 09:00-16:00 weekdays (excluding lunch break), with major exceptions noted here and/or on Twitter. If you do arrive during office hours and no staff member is available, check the sign on Anthony's office door for a return time. Here are some upcoming exceptions:

The colour laser printer is being a bit finicky right now — it's old and is having troubling dealing with the number of full-page images is it being asked to print. Since we cannot guarantee great quality prints, we've decided to drop our price for the rest of term and state plainly to you that our colour laser produces draft quality documents.

Our new price is 25¢ per page (Letter or Legal). Degree students in Art, Music, Drama and Dance can have their first 5 colour laser pages per day at no charge (and an additional 20 black and white laser pages for their daily total of 25). You will have to pay for whatever you send to the printer at this price — no further discount will be given due to the quality of the output. Think of it this way: $2 used to get you 5 pages; now it gets you 13. On the flip side, 10 pages used to cost you $4; now it costs $1.25.

If you require a crisper laser print, go to the Arts Faculty Computer Lab (SS018) or the Learning Commons (TFDL). We continue to offer photographic-quality prints as a separate service.

We've replaced the older flatbed scanner at the Instructor's Station with a new Epson Perfection V500 Photo scanner. It can scan any letter-sized document. The software (Epson Scan) works the same way with this new scanner as with the previous model. It also has the additional advantage that the glass is not scratched — please keep it that way! Remember that anyone can use the Instructor's Station when it is not being used for a class.

…Bamboo media for Fine Art printing, that is. This high-grade matte-finish paper is available in letter sheets and costs $3.75 for a completed print.
